Why Is My Morning Imprinting Routine Taking Longer Than Expected?

Written by Chris Walker

When you're first learning the Morning Training Routine, it's normal for it to take longer than expected.

Most members initially spend 35–45 minutes on the routine while they are still getting familiar with the structure and building the habit.

During the early stages you are typically:

  • Learning the sequence of the routine

  • Becoming familiar with the writing format

  • Building the daily habit

  • Memorizing your Frequency Imprinting Blueprint

As the process becomes more natural, the routine almost always becomes faster.

The long-term target for the Morning Routine is typically:

15–25 minutes per day

How to Reduce the Time Without Reducing Effectiveness

If your routine is currently taking longer than expected, the strategies below can help streamline it while keeping the training effective.

1. Time Each Section of the Routine

A simple trick that works surprisingly well is using the stopwatch on your phone.

Record a split (lap) for each section:

  1. Stream of Consciousness

  2. Clarity of Self, Empowering Beliefs & Encoded Certainties

  3. Aligned Actions & Delegated Actions

Many members find that just having the timer running reduces the routine time by 25–50% without changing anything else.

Typical time ranges for each section:

Stream of Consciousness
6–10 minutes

Core Imprinting Sequence
5–8 minutes

Actions (Aligned + Delegated)
4–7 minutes

This naturally brings the full routine into the 15–25 minute range.

2. Reduce the Number of Imprinting Statements

Each section of your Frequency Imprinting Blueprint should contain 3–5 statements.

If you currently have more than that, consider removing one statement from each section.

A tighter blueprint is often faster to write and easier to memorize, while still delivering the same impact.

3. Expect the Routine to Speed Up After 2–3 Weeks

Around the 2–3 week mark, most members notice the routine becoming significantly faster.

This happens because:

  • Your Imprinting Blueprint becomes memorized

  • The writing process becomes automatic and habitual

Once that happens, the routine naturally shortens without requiring additional changes.

The Bottom Line

If your routine is taking longer than expected, that’s completely normal in the early stages.

As the process becomes familiar and your Imprinting Blueprint becomes memorized, most members naturally settle into a 15–25 minute daily practice while maintaining the full effectiveness of the training.
