How Does Billing Work?

ENCODED Membership uses a simple, transparent billing system designed to make your experience smooth from day one.

Here's exactly how billing works, based on our official Terms of Service.


1. What does your first payment unlock?

When you enroll, you choose one of three memberships, billed either annually or monthly. Annual billing saves roughly 33% versus monthly.

Digital — $629/year ($52/mo) or $79/month

Train from anywhere with the complete ENCODED software system, using your own journal. Available worldwide.

Digital includes:

  • 6 Frequency Maps across the year

  • Personalized training plans

  • Full training routine library

  • Cycle insights and progress tracking

  • Full ENCODED app (web and mobile)

Core — $799/year ($67/mo) or $99/month (Most Popular)

The complete system, the way it was designed. Train with the full software stack and the purpose-built Anchor Journal delivered to your door.

Everything in Digital, plus:

  • Anchor Journals delivered to your door (12 journals per year, sent in quarterly deliveries of 3)

  • Free shipping to 33 countries

Immersion — $2,499/year (annual only)

A facilitator's full attention for your first month of training.

Begin with a Certified Frequency Trainer. Accelerate your training and results with personalized 1:1 facilitation, then train independently for the rest of the year.

Everything in Core, plus:

  • 4-week onboarding arc with a Certified Frequency Trainer

  • Private 1:1 text channel for the full 4-week arc

  • 3 live 1:1 immersive sessions to set your trajectory

Your first membership charge is processed at the time of enrollment, and your access begins immediately.


2. Choosing annual or monthly

Digital and Core can be billed annually or monthly. Immersion is offered on an annual basis only.

  • Annual renews automatically every 12 months, on the date you joined, and saves about 33% versus monthly.

  • Monthly renews automatically every 30 days, on the date you joined.

Example (annual): If you join on March 10, 2026, your next billing date is March 10, 2027.

The cycle repeats unless you cancel before your next renewal date.


3. Billing through Stripe

All payments are securely handled by Stripe, including:

  • Annual and monthly membership charges

  • Payment method updates

  • Failed payment retries

Stripe provides banking-level security and encryption.


4. Updating your payment method

You can update your card or payment method anytime inside your Member Dashboard. Changes take effect immediately and apply to your next billing cycle.


5. What if your payment fails?

If a renewal payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.):

  • Stripe will automatically retry the payment

  • You'll receive email notifications to update your payment method

  • Access to your membership will pause after 7 days if the issue is unresolved

Once your payment method is updated, membership access is restored automatically.


6. Changing your membership tier

You can move between Digital, Core, and Immersion at any time.

  • Upgrades (for example, Digital to Core) take effect right away. Stripe charges the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.

  • Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep full access to your current tier through the end of the term you have already paid for.

You can request a tier change anytime through your Member Dashboard or by contacting support.


7. Cancellation and the 30-day guarantee

Every membership is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee — if ENCODED isn't for you, request a full refund within 30 days of your first charge, no questions asked.

After that, you can cancel anytime before your next renewal date:

  • Your membership remains active through the end of the current term

  • No prorated or partial refunds after the 30-day window

  • Cancelling stops all future charges

8. Price changes

If membership pricing ever changes, you'll be notified before your next billing cycle. Continuing your membership after notification implies acceptance of the new pricing.
